I do — you don't.
I'm fully licensed and insured for photography in Banff National Park, so there's nothing for you to arrange. You'll just need a Parks Canada park pass, same as every vehicle entering the park — available at the gate or online.
That's it. Bring yourselves.

We shoot around golden hour, so it moves with the season — as late as 7–9pm in midsummer, and early-to-mid afternoon in winter.
Tell me your dates, and I'll give you the window before you book anything.

Sessions based in Calgary (within 50km one way) include travel at no extra cost.
Canmore and Banff sessions include a flat $100 CAD travel fee — no per-km calculations, just one simple number added to your package.
Somewhere further out? I'll put together a quick travel quote based on distance, no obligation.

Awkward is the default. Confidence is optional, comfort is key. I’ll be there to help you loosen up and just be. Promise no robot arms or magazine smiles.
Just be present, laugh a little, focus on the people you love (or your dog), and enjoy the ride.

Travel schedules shift, and mountain weather has its own personality, totally normal.
If we need to adjust the shoot, you get up to two free reschedules within the same calendar year, as long as our schedules still match.Just send me a quick message anytime something comes up.
We’ll make it work and find a better moment for your photos. The mountains decide the weather. We work around it.

Yes, and they usually make the photos better.
Dogs need to be on leash in the national parks — park rule, and it keeps them safe around wildlife. A leash in frame is no problem; it usually just reads as part of the story.
Bring water and something they love. Someone to hold the leash just outside the frame helps too.

I deliver only edited photos, all the good ones.
I remove duplicates, blinks, and “mid-talk face,” then edit everything so your gallery feels clean, cohesive, and beautiful.
For reference, 3-hours wedding starts from 200+ photos.
I never hold back, if it’s good, it’s in.
